Lorna is a very patient teacher with excellent teaching and training skills. I have been taking her classes since August 2023 and she has helped me a lot to pass the IELTS exam.

I was most impressed with the speaking section. We practiced a lot of speaking topics for the IELTS exam. In IELTS test, Part one will be some common topics, Part two and three will be deeper, especially Part three, you need to give a discussion. So if you want to pass the speaking test with a high mark, you need a lot of targeted practice. Usually, Lorna would listen to me at first without interrupting me and encouraged me to speak more, which gave me more confidence in speaking English. Then she would give me some feedback, correct some grammatical mistakes and provide some more authentic expressions.

Lorna also provided a lot of selfless help when it came to writing. I used to send her my essays and she would help me correct my mistakes in terms of structure, grammar and collocations. In fact, lorna was only my speaking teacher at that time, but she was still willing to give me help with my writing. I am very grateful to her.
I got an overall score of 7 in IELTS test, with a 7 in Speaking, a 6 in Writing (I didn't finish it on time), an 8 in Reading and a 7.5 in Listening.

Besides, Lorna's pronunciation was standardized and clear, so I didn't have any trouble in understanding when we had a class. Hence, I could focus on extracting the information itself instead of reminding me the fact that I was listening to a foreign language. I think this aspect also indirectly helped my listening.
